Did you know we have created over 2531 avatars to date.
...save to computer from email from member, open edit program, select pic, crop, resize and sharpen, rename, save again, open system and go into member list, locate member and insert avatar at an average estimate time of 7 minutes..... equals 17717 minutes ...equals over 295 hours.
That means, if we had to do them all again starting tomorrow...it would take THIRTY SEVEN 8 hour shifts to put them all back.
That's just for AVATARS!!!
We have a few more interesting facts to come...(meant to do this around our 10 year anniversary, but time got away)
Wow, very cool Terry, interesting bit of info there! :)
Wow! Thanks for all y'all do. This is an incredible site and wonderful folks.
I and many others for sure have no clue how much work goes on behind the scenes. Thanks to all so much for the efforts. :notworthy: :campfire:
And just think, there are about 40,000 members
Wow.....puts it in perspective! Thanks for all you do!
I'm gonna be watching for these. I would love to hear about the history of this website. Thanks Trad Gang!

Love this site!
Thanks Terry
You and your team have selflessly provided a remarkable benefaction.
Merci.......
Yes and ther are some interesting numbers you guys put up for a 'trad bowhunting site'
This is a great topic.... I look forward yo more of these.
It really puts it all into perspective.
Even though I have been a member on a couple forums for many years I was never active on them. 2 months ago when I started the podcast I figured I better be more involved in forums so I registered on every bow hunting forum there is. Some I absolutely don't like, 3 other ones are really good but not as busy as here and this one feels like home.
I can't imagine what it takes to run a site like this, but km very grateful that you do. I could not be happier with the community you created here.
Appreciate you sharing Terry. Makes me appreciate my avatar even more!
I'll give you a break Terry and not add my ugly mug as an avatar
Sure appreciate all you guys do Terry! TG is a special place that has enriched my hunting and life in general. I know you have to deal with a lot of crap too so thanks for your perseverance! May the fire continue to burn bright! :campfire:
Bear with me...as I'm going hunting in a few, and wont be back till Sunday...pun is intended.
I'll posts another fact then.... :campfire:
amazing

Rob did about 2200 of them....so thank him... :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
I remember being away from home in some strange motel when I sent my e-mail request for Avatar help. I was glad to have TradGang for company.
Cool story sir....when I find myself sometimes in a motel...I also get on TradGang thanks to my phone...keeps me linked to my passion. :campfire:
Terry,
I know you won't say this but another little known fact is that for many years before sponsorship and membership donations that every dime to finance TradGang came out of your pocket.
Mike
Appreciate this site, but have always been curious as to how/why some avatars are bigger than others, mine is pretty tiny, much like the deer in the photo (pun intended...8^))
Many post avatars with their biggest critter, I posted my smallest...8^) Been trying to kill one with spots for years, but the chance has yet to occur...8^)
Easy Z....a couple of times I went without an editing program... i did them with 'paint'...and had no editing program...so I just 'guest' at the size.
:)
