Title: Childrens bows?
Post by: Dakota Kid on September 08, 2007, 12:40:00 AM
Does anybody make childrens bows with dual shelfs?
My son can't make up his mind on which way he likes to shoot, does both equally well.  He also hits from both sides of the tee in T-ball.  Would like to get him a bow with a dual shelf so he can decide when the time is right for him.  My daughter is also showin signs of ambidexterity (sp). I figure the dual shelf can be used by all?

Thanks

There are a ton of fiberglass double-shelf bows out there! You can usually get them very cheaply (I almost said "inexpensively", but they are cheaper than that!) and they last forever. I still have my Bear Green Fox twenty-five pounder that I got in '69. Looks pretty good, still, and has taught a fair number of kids.

Go with a fiberglass as Killdeer suggests.  I have two boys, one lefty the other righty, and they share the fiberglass bow I got them from 3Rivers.
