i have a kodiak magnum 48 pounds at 52 inches, but i have know info on th year it was made. is there any way for me to find that out? there is a serial number (i asume its the serial number  ) written above the specs. thanks in advance
Put your serial number and the color and design of the medallion and maybe the color of the glass and handle (riser) of the bow in this thread and I guarantee someone here will be able to tell you more than you ever wanted to know about it.
I would venture that if it is marked 48 pounds it is pre-1970. NOW, would you kindly post the serial number and tell us the colors of the wood and glass? It is past my bedtime.
Killdeer :saywhat:
Go to bed Killy,,, you get a little grouchy when you're tired,,, don't you? :biglaugh:
*sknnxxxx**! huhwhut? Huh?
Dagnabbit, 'Sage! Ya woke me up! If you think I'm cranky when I'm tired, that is NOTHING compared to interrupted sleep!
Don't tell me this guy with a vintage KMag in my weight has gone to bed... :help:
I didn't think you worked at night Killie....
It follows me, dogs my steps even while I sleep. It's the dreams, man, the dreams...stacks of local papers, one-inch mail slots labeled with the names of thirteen hotelling illegals painfully etched in a cramped hand, individual changes of address, F.O.E.'s from eight years ago, and another truck pulls up to the back, filled with Comcast fletters sorted by apartment number or alphabetically by first names....
MAKE IT STOP!!!!!
Killdeer~I'll go quietly, officer.
Let's see....48#'s at 52 inches would be about 5#'s at 28" if it don't stack much. That's a rare bow. It may not have a serial number :p :p ...Van

AMO-52"
48#
nice... Its a 70's bow... but not green... nice
All I know is that starting in 70 serial numbers started with "K" but thats about all I know..
The 60's had the 4th digit of the year as the first number of the serial number...
It is nice as most 70's bows I've seen are green (maple i think)..
Sho nuff nice one... hold on to her!!!
No reel/stabilizer bushing, I would guess 1970. She's a beauty, take good care of her. She has a home in Virginia if you ever decide to kick her out for a younger model.
Killdeer :clapper:
