I was talking to a guy who is interested in archery/bowhunting and wants to buy a trad bow, the problem is his drawleght is 33 inches. Does anyone know of any bows that are made to this draw lenght ? The only bow that will work for him at the moment is a bow with training wheels.
Any help would be golden, cheers.
Widow PMA. 64". Would do it
A JavaMan Falcon at 62"
Chastain Wapiti makes them for long draws
Draw might change a bit when he drops the wheels. That said I would probably go with a long recurve and ask the bowyer. You will probably be surprised at how many will handle a long draw these days.
There's lots of possibilities. The Long Blacktail recurve makes it 66". I have a 68" Leon Stewart longbow which I draw to my 32" w/o problems.. Border Black Douglas with the long riser and long limbs can make it 64-66".
Toelke SS 64" recurve(one piece), or a Toelke Whip in 64" or 66". I draw 32" with a 62" Whip.
Hey thanks a lot guys!!! I was abit stumped by the draw lenght. You guys are great.
MOOSE
A 66" Wes Wallace Mentor or his 68" longbow. I have both and my draw length of 31 1/2"
Bear Takedown, B riser with #3 limbs would be a 64" bow. Also, some ILF bows that are 'target' bows can easily be converted to hunt with. The Hoyt Excel comes to mind and depending on limbs, can be quiet inexpensive.
70" long bow. all others too short. :readit:
