Been using them for years but have yet to come up with sure way to secure the bleeders from sliding up (particularly when I pull them from the quiver hood!)
What do you do? Thanks

I haven't had that problem.......maybe I need new hood foam. :~)

If you pull the blade into place with a couple pair of pliers they'll usually stay put.... however.
Just in case you can use some fletching cement along the edge where it touches the ferrule. I've also used a dab of super glue jell. Stays put and is easily removed for sharpening.
Another way is to heat the bleeder a little before seating it all the way. This will usually pick up a little of the ferrule cement (if that's what you use)and hold it tight.

Thanks Charlie. I have done similar things- and also agree that you can pull them tight with pliers. I just want something more secure. I will re-visit the adhesives. Also may try to insert something in the bleeder slot-like a rubber band. . . I have an idea for that.
Thanks
