I highly recommend Wild Things in SC. True fair chase, no fence hunting on 3000 acres of cypress swamp and pine/hardwood upland. Andrew is working on a new lodge that will be ready soon. I'm going back in March.

Wild Things not only caters to bowhunters, they only allow TRADITIONAL BOWS to be used!   :)

Victor,
I'll second the nod to Jim and Irv at True South Adventures. Their leases are near Ft. Pierce, FL and have hunted with them a few times. Going back in Feb.'14. PM if you would like more info.
              Best regards,
                      Todd
P.S. There's a post in Highlights about the last boar I took with them.

Thanks guys.We offer fair chase hunts for wild hogs and Osceola turkeys. Hunts are conducted on several properties in the Fort Pierce/Vero Beach Fl. area(90 minutes south of Orlando).
Hunts are reasonably priced with a very high opportunity rate. We are lucky to have loyal clients/friends that return year after year.

Just a few specifics: stands are set 6-10 yards from feeders(we get about 95% trad guys),boars AND sows are allowed, lots of small game and varmints, free camping and bowfishing, too.

We are also sponsors and members of TBOF, WTA, Compton, PBS, and other pro-trad groups.
Lots of hunts on my Youtube channel and on a few on Bill Langer's more recent videos.Check us out on FB too.
Jim Dussias/True South Adventures.

Thank you for the recommendations.  A lot has changed at Wild Things, formerly Ray's Hog Heaven.  New lodge, new bunkhouse (with sheets and towels!), new fields, miles of new trails through the woods, all tillable acres planted in a variety of crops for food and cover, new ladder stands in areas designated for stand hunting.  The property is 3000 acres near Estill SC with five miles of frontage on the Savannah River.
I have 3 day and 5 day hunts available but will be happy to work with specific dates and requests if possible.        Website is huntwildthings.com. My phone number is 803.943,8818.
Email is [email protected].
Hope you'll consider a visit.

I've not hunted at Wildthings yet, but have talked with Andrew a couple of times trying to reschedule my hunt there I was suppose to take in early December.

I have to say he is one of the nicest individuals I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with.  He has been more than accomodating.

There are many, many threads about hunting at Ray's/Wildthings.

There are a couple spots open for a hog hunt at Wild Things the weekend of December 5-8th (hunt Friday, Saturday and Sunday AM).  Currently there are 6 other TG members who are attending.

Contact Andrew or myself with details.

Gonna be an epic hunt!
