PRESS RELEASE
December 20, 2012, Walla Walla, WA:
Martin Archery is For Sale
The Martin family has decided to sell its sixty-two year old archery business. Gail Martin, the company's founder and President turns ninety next year and has decided to retire.
Martin Archery has been a major player and innovator in the archery business for many years making multiple contributions to the growth of the industry.
Gail Martin said "It's time! There are so many things I have wanted to do for many years and have reluctantly decided that running the business makes it impossible to do them. Whoever buys the business will get a slate of state-of-the-art bows and will inherit a rich tradition."
Any interested persons are encouraged to contact Martin Archery at 509-529-2554 ext. 911 or e-mail MartinArcheryInc@gmail.com.
that's old news. the building is for sale. all they have is scheduled for auction. apparently they have found a tentative buyer, but if the deal falls through...
its pretty bad for them.
Search this and you will find that Gail has since passed away.
I saw a post by Larry Hatfield stating that the auction was for inventory only. The facilities and manufacturing equipment are up for sale for I think he said $1.9 million.

Sorry to hear that, they have been a great help in the archery trade.
There is news on a new investment company that is trying to close a deal and prevent the company from going under and resurrect it, but they are still fighting with it.
The auction was to be in late Sept but now it is shown to be Nov.
Really hate to see Martin go under - owned many of their bows through the years and still do own a Dreamcatcher I'll never part with.
