Good Luck to all.I'll be out early in the morning myself. :bigsmyl:
I took my first trad hog a couple of months ago, and it was a thrill! My deer season opens tomorrow as well here in GA. I am more than a little excited! Looking for my first trad deer.
For us Saturday will be all day soccer with the kids. FWIW, I was out last week moving one of my stands. I sprayed down real good and took the other usual precautions but still got some CHIGGERS!! :help: Itchy little buggers. Good luck to those going out!
Good luck guys, still have a month to wait here.
our archery season opens in sc in a week in my game zone. its 95 deg. here how and its hard to get in spirit. i put up a stand yesterday for my son about pasted out. i have been shooting about every day though. good luck to everyone!
Break out your Thermacell....you will need it!!
I might try tomorrow evening if it isn't too hot. Just across the river in Knowlton, NJ
I had to break down and get a Thermacell for tommorrow. It is only going to be 90 or so and I know the bugs will be hungry. :)
I will be in Zone 5 tomorrow with my brother.
Good luck.
I'll be out in the morning till about 9:00 the latest, hopefully a shot will reveal itself way before that. I want to be out before it starts getting hot. Probably will take a ride on the bike through the Sussex County backroads in the afternoon looking fo the die-hards heading back out in the heat.
Good luck to all and be safe.
I'll be out at zero dark thirty. It's so dry here that mosquitoes haven't been a problem ... ticks and chiggers are a different matter.
Well good luck everyone,I will sit this weekend out ,just too warm for me.Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to get in the woods, but the season is long and I'll let the bugs have this Saturday to themselves. I also hate the idea that I have to shoot a doe first before I can get my buck.Last year I waited for the regular season to hunt because of it.I always have enough meat after all the seasons are over. :bigsmyl:
