I am in need of a recurve but have not been finding much in my 40-45# range. However, I did find a Morrison Cheyenne take-down for sale. I know nothing about them and have never shot one. What can you tell me about these bows? What are they worth used? $400, $500?
I hate to buy a bow that I have never shot, but given the low selection right now, I might not have a choice.
Thanks,
I have one and it is my favorite bow. Very smooth drawing and quick.
One of the best IMO . $400-$500 would be a very good price if its the length and poundage your looking for . I have tried many bows and besides my old Bears my three Morrisons are my go to bows.
Absolutely wonderful bows. I have owned a number of them over the years and have killed more critters with them than any other single bow. They are fast, stable, and very well built. Paying less than $500 for one is a very good deal.

It's the only recurve I ever regret selling :banghead:
Bob also makes LB limbs to fit the Cheyenne riser so you get it all if you want it!
That's a sweet bow. Points real quick.
Its my second favorite all time bow. Smooth shooting. Comfortable all round.

Great shooting bows! Period!

I am also waiting on photos of one of his metal riser bows as well. I understand each has advantages. I never owned a metal riser but am open to consideration. I am assuming that they are past centershot, so that should help with arrow spine issues.

Jason,
I have several recurves I regret having sold. But I'm glad to say the Morrison Cheyenne I'm presently shooting isn't one of them!

I agree that you can't go wrong with a Cheyenne. I bought one of Gary's Cheyenne's and he is not getting it back (LOL!!)
Yep
I agree with all the above.
Good bows, good People too.
