Hi I received a Taipan in the mail today, just one week since I sent it to James Berry to be refinished. Anyone who knows Mr Berry will not be surprised at the great job he did. The bow looks like new and shoots every arrow, wood, carbon or aluminium where Im pointing. He told me that the woods used were elm and yew on the limbs and bocote and cocobolo in the riser. I would post pics if I could figure how. I guess I have to get a bucket site or something like that to put pics up. Thanks George Hill
Well, figure out how to post pics for goodness sakes LOL! I'd like to see it. I'm thinking a Berry bow might move to first in line on my wish list.
As my signature shows I'm a fan of Berry bows. I've not had the pleasure of shooting his r/d bows but his straightlimbed bows are fantastic. James is a pleasure to talk to and his bows exceed all expectations in appearance AND performance.
If you email me the pics I can post them up for you.

Sounds beautiful... get some pics up if you (or Brian) have time. I would love to see it.
The Taipan is another sweet shooter.
Brian, how them pics coming?
I haven't got them emailed to me yet. Still looking for them in the mail box
I sent Mr Hill pm on the day he posted his thread giving him my e-mail address with the offer to post pictures for him.
I just hope that everything is ok with Mr Hill.
God bless,Mudd
George has gotten ahold of me. He is fine, his son sent the pics but or some reason they did not go thru. They will be te sending later

Hi The wood used in the limbs are yew as a core wood and elm on the back and belly. In the riser there is bocote and cocobolo. And of course a big application of golden retriever. Just in passing I would thank Brian for helping out and posting these pictures for me. Also thanks to 'Mudd' for offering to put pics up for me. There are a lot of good people on this site. Thanks George Hill
My pleasure George. You have a beautiful bow and pup!!!!
