my 2 1/2 year old daughter and i had a very enjoyable afternoon a couple of weeks ago. we spent a glorious afternoon hunting rabbits and enjoying each others company. she loves her backpack walks!
can't think of many better ways to spend some time together.
we got lucky late in the piece when i connected with a buck rabbit at 20 yards.
it was a little high five when we found him dead at the entrance to his burrow. you can rest assured this little girl is going to grow up knowing where meat comes from.

That's very cool! Who ended up taking the picture? Is that a little snack I see in her hand? :)
Good for you Ozy. Good times!
That is awesome! I commend you for making sure she knows where meat comes from, this seems to be missing from a lot of peoples lives these days.
Great memories there!!
Love it! Way to go Clint!

She is sweet, this is a great way to build memories of a life time.
Excellent !
I took both of my kids hunting when they were little. Those were good times. I still remember them even if they don't.
Nice job Clint!
Growing up knowing where meat comes from is a good thing to be sure; growing up knowing the love of her father is priceless- hat's off to you, Clint.

Make the most of it mate. I use to take my kids on just about all my hunts when they were that age up until they hit high school. Sometimes it use to bother me that I was missing out and spooking game etc... Now.... I'd trade every animal I ever shot to have one single hour in the bush with them again.
Well done mate,
ak.
thanks for the comments guys.
