Well it's 94 degrees here and I am sitting 18' high in a tree sweating my things off. I am covered in seed ticks. Not so bad when the wind blows a bit, but man it's down right hot.
Wish me luck
Good luck my friend! Hope it cools down this evening and one comes along for ya! :wavey:
I wish you a nice cold beer.......
... mike ...
If you are not nuts now you will be by the time the seed ticks get through with you! :scared:
Good luck
Good luck. I have a 10 point on my wall I killed when it was 92 degrees in October. Crazy warm for Ohio. Hunt the water.
I couldn't do it, those little seed ticks freak me out :D
I knew where you were from the instant I read 94 degrees. I was just as happy to work a little late this afternoon, and get some shooting practice in before supper. On the other hand, you have a chance if you hunt!
Had a doe trot by me at 10 yards then fed behind me for a few minutes. I don't think I would have shot her anyway since it was so hot.
Archery season in Georgia is always hot like that, but I never get used to the high temperatures. That's the price of early season hunting, I guess. One thing for sure, though,is that my clothes will be thoroughly sprayed down with a permethrin based repellant. Those ticks are potentially very dangerous.
Hope that cool front y'all are having passes by us! Ha!
Check good for the big ticks. You don't want Lyme disease.
True about the water. Have seen deer at different ponds on my drive home from work last two evenings.
Good luck!

Same here. Good luck. Saw a bunch of doe so far this morning.
good luck..
Hang in there and good luck.
Yeah, its HOT!
We have storms blowing through right now and temps are supposed to drop. Should be a good weekend.
You have bigger one's then I do. I would have stayed at the house.
Look at CO's floods and thank the Lord for your situation. You have options, they do not. Still, I hunted in VA in the heat, and it is always in the 90's here for deer and 'lopes. Hard core for shur...get one
I live in sc, it was 91deg this afternoon, looks like you got the heat, when its that hot I watch tv.
We're still having fun though...
When folks tell me it's too hot, cold, windy ect to hunt. I just tell them that I can't do anything about the weather, and go hunt. Of course 94 is a little extreme.

What Sam said.
Those seed ticks can drive a fella insane. I got in 'em twice last year.
Well I'm back at it this morning. It's a bit wet in the woods, but I'm sitting in a bunch of red oaks that are dropping. Even with the rain I can smell deer so I'm feeling pretty good about this morning.
Your not nuts, its called dedication
Its going to be really good this eve for sure!
I think you're nuts! Then again aren't we all just a little nuts? Keeps us interesting!!! Hang in there, cooler days are comin'.
