I just lost the last of my 160gr straight steel blunts I bought years ago and would like to find some more but 3-River, Kustom King, Big Jim or Braveheart don't carry them. Anyone got a line on on some? Looking for the cheap straight steel, not VPA, Hammerhead or any of the pricy ones.
Thanks,
CJ
CJ, give Mike at the Nocking Point a call, they have them listed on their site.

I just hacksaw the end off a heavier field point. You can get pretty close to exact weight by guessing and then all the follow up ones are on the money.
I would recommend starting with a 200 gr head since they are thicker than the 175s.
(i do this with screw ins....can't comment on glue ons)
Can always add weight to lighter ones.
Ace has them up to 200 gn.

the old school method we used was 357 shells and melt a pre-measured amount of bird shot into the casing to get the desired weight,, we did this with Broadheads, Judos and FP's also..
you can do this with regular 125 blunts also.
hard to beat Ace hex heads. super deadly.
Thanks guys. Just looking for the pain jane straight steel blunts since I don't mind loosing them and don't want to fool with modifying anything. The Nocking Point has just what I need.
