Baiting bears sure makes it hard to concentrate on building bows. This is my first year baiting and hunting Arkansas bears. Took em a few days to find my baits but finally got some good pics, got to start baiting 9/1. Season opens 10/1, hope I can keep their interest for that long. May be tough, looks like we're gonna have a big acorn crop.

That is a monster! Good luck :archer:
Looks like that one knows where all the bait piles are!!

Kent,
That is a huge bear! Put the bows on the back burner and kill that monster.
Yeah I don't think he's missed any meals!
Charlie, I'll be working on your bow this weekend, hope to get it sanded and spray finish on it. Can't hunt em till 10/1 anyway, probably just make a bait trip and check the camera Saturday. Good thing I'm working out of town this week, it's hard to keep from checking the cam. This bear baiting stuff is kind of addictive!
Good luck with him Kent!!
I sure hope you get a crack at him, that looks like a huge bear to me.
That's just plain Kool... I did not know that our neighbors to the NE had bears of that caliber. Good luck with the bears
Looks like a healthy bear. Good luck!
