Title: Quivers??
Post by: Fleatrap1 on September 09, 2013, 06:59:00 PM
Had a bow quiver on my compound, now that I'm completely converted and madly in love with my stick bow I really don't want a quiver on it.  Any suggestions for a good carry quiver for hunting season???

Lots of folks like a sling type quiver that hangs off one shoulder. It is easy to manipulate, quiet, and, depending on the model, provides full protection for the arrows. Safari Tuf(not sure on the spelling) is one that is highly recommended.

That said, if you do much stalking, you may find you go right back to a bow quiver. I have used a side quiver for years, and have decided there is nothing for it but to get a bow quiver, given my hunting style.

I did the back quiver and hip quiver thing... but a bow quiver is just the tops. If you want the sling on quiver the Safari Tuff seems to be the most popular, and Rod Jenkins stuff is top quality.
