The points are going on almost all the way but the wont go on completely. I tried it on some POC shafts too below is a hard wood shaft.

I've had the same thing happen.
I think your taper is too long & bottoming out on your field point before it's fully seated. When I shortened my taper they started fitting properly
Try cutting 1/4" off your point taper.
What taper tool? If you are using a sanding disk and a block the angle could be incorrect.
Some 125s do that, like mentioned above, shorten your taper...just nip 1/4" off and try again.
All you have to do is cut the 1/4" off the tip. thats it.

Looks to me like the shaft diameter is larger than the point diameter(outside)
There are two types of points out there. One is a deep inside tapered point and other has a shallower inside taper. I'd cut off a little and retry the fit.
