Just thought I should give a report on the archery lesson I took on Labor Day with Rod Jenkins in Northern Alabama. I drove down from Nashville with my 5.5 year old son and we started around 9:45.
Rod was excellent. I was a total disaster, but with his help he definitely put me on the right track. He went through every part of the shot, and then we spent the day working through each area.
He was also a gem with my son.
Five stars all the way. If I could redo my entire 3 years of traditional archery, I would have started with a lesson from Rod. It would have saved me hours of frustration and inconsistency.
For all you tradgangers, I would sell all my bows and go to a used junker if that is what it took to take this class. Why didn't I do this sooner? :knothead:
X 2!!
I feel the same way! Glad you got to experience his lessons and guidance. Definitely helped me.
Jesse, your last line sums it up perfectly....
Glad it worked for you
I went through one of Rod's clinics many months ago and I consider the money spend was the best money I ever spent on the sport. My shooting has improved a lot since I attended.
Doesnt surprise me in the least with ol Rod. Your FAR ahead of the game of alot of us if you "only" wasted 3 years before getting with a guy like Rod, Congrats!!
I've not had a chance to take a class with Rod yet but I have talked with him a few times, he really seems like good guy. I bought a couple of his tabs and had some questions, shot gloves all my life, and any issue I had he had an answer for and it was spot on.
Hope I get to meet him some day.
Steve
