Dad has one at home on his rack, always shot good for him.  You looking up info on them?

Made by Alan Rothhaar of Michigan who is related to whitetail hunter Roger Rothhaar.  Alan was making some bows in the mid-1980's when I lived in Michigan.  Nice bows.  If memory serves me correct his design had some similarities to Assenheimer bows which would not be suprising since Roger shot one at that time.

John is correct.  I spoke with Allen years ago about his bows.  If you find an old addition of Dan Bertalan's Bowyers bible, there is a section on Allen's bows.

I found one.  It looks like a fine bow.

Like John said Alan built these bows in the 80's, maybe into early 90's.  Alan is my first cousin (makes him Dad's nephew, if my math is right  :)  ).  I know they had some pretty good hook to the recurve and he tried to get them to shoot pretty fast.  I never shot one myself.  I know he hasn't built any for years, occasionally someone pops up looking for limbs or something - so some are still in use.
