Title: Anybody shootin GT Expedition Hunters?
Post by: Rigs on September 03, 2013, 04:07:00 PM
Just curious...I'm looking to get some 7595's and wondering if they're as good as the GT Trads minus the wood grain... and 2.1 grains per inch...

Happy hunting,
Jason

Yes sir, they are the same quality. The spine and GPI are the difference between them and the trad shafts.

Very good arrows for the money. Killed tons of deer with them in my wheel days.

I shoot the black XT Hunters, which are the straighter version of the same shaft (.003" straightness). They are great shafts as far as I am concerned.

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not, but I'm not a good enough archer to tell the difference in performance.  :goldtooth:

Yup - I also shoot the Expedition hunters. Bought a couple of dozen a few years back. I use them on most of my bows and just make different inserts on my lathe to get the spines right.
Good arrows for the money.
