I was all set for the season. My go to bow would be my Predator recurve with trad only arrows tipped with VPA heads. Tuned up nice and ready to go.
Then, through some great deals from the classifieds I have some new DAS components. A 2nd Dalaa riser , (too heap to pass one en though I haven't been shooting my 1st one) and a set of Centaurs new ILF longbow limbs. Found a S D string that was right and to the targets I go.
It's a really NIce combo scaling 45@27 and 62" long. Quiet, quick and dead in the hand. I'm calling it Cen-laa!
October starts our bow season for deer, but I just may take her out after piggies this Saturday! Or do I take the tried and true Predator?! Such a good problem to have.
Both...lol
Shoot the Predator and send Cen-laa to me so you won't have that temptation.
:biglaugh: At Avid Archer,,,problem solved!!
Take them out to your target. Shoot one arrow from the predator as if you were hunting, broadhead and all. Than wait an hour pick up the cen-laa and shoot one hunting arrow.Which ever is the better shot, hunt with that one! Shawn
I should say I have been there, I have a belcher/border limbed ILF and my Caribow Tuktu EX, that is what I did! Shawn
Yes, I have been there. Took both my shrew and my kota to CO for elk. Gotta have a back-up, right?
