Appears to be a solid glass, fluted tapered round limb , oldish style tip , longbow. Don't have a string to fit it yet , haven't checked length even.
Figure it is a Sears or the like bow from 19??
What ya think? :)

Most interesting.
That is neat looking!
Its different thats for sure.
Kenny - I remember a friend of mine in high school having one of those. His was green though. He didn't have a string for it, so I have no idea how it shot. It came apart in the middle like a fishing rod. Does that one come apart? I don't know anymore about it. That was 20+ years ago when I saw one.
At the shop I deal at he has one in the green color,
"BEWARE" that thing is a real big time wrist SLAPPER :scared: :scared: :scared:
I can't get it to come apart, not sure whether to string it or not.....
Spray some Kroil on it Kenny.
Is that a fiberglass flight bow? For flight competition maybe?
You have to string it. Your curiousity will make you crazy if you don't.
What is Kroil, Barry?
It sounds like it has a metal rod inside when you tap on it, kinda rattles.
I hope someone can tell us what it is, but I'm guessing a cheap hardware store type bow.
I will string it in a few days and prolly shoot it too. Just gotta! :D
kroil is a penetrating oil really good stuff
If my memory serves..it's called a "carriage bow".

I've seen a few of them over the years.
Kenny yours looks to be in better shape than most of the ones I've seen.
Let us know how it shoots.
God bless,Mudd
Stream-eze? Kenny, looks like the one I bought off of Joe St. Charles back in the early '90s. He had a bunch of them at Marshall, Michigan at the GLLA shoot.
Mine is 56", 50lbs at 28". You should post it over on the collectors section!
I put a ultra cam sting on mine, and it shoots great.
Pretty sure it is a Stream-eze made by one of the fishing pole manufactures, don't remember which one.
I see them from time to time, my friend Colene has one she dolled up with snake skins all the way around, people think it something she made. It actually shoots pretty well.
I had a few of those several years ago. I was told they weren't worth much, wound up selling them. Had some that were, I think, Stream-eze, some Paul Bunyan...I forget what-all. Seems like I had 30 or more of them. Bought a wad of them on the auction site from the owners of an old dept. store than had closed...in the 70's, I think? I'd kept a couple, sent one to Dr. Ashby to bowfish with. Think I finally got rid of all of them.
I love stuff like this.just gets the mind wondering.then ya post it, an the knowledge of all our members starts to ooze.
OK thanks guys!! I gotta shoot it when time allows now!! LOL It's 67" ntn BTW...
Sorry, dbl post!!
