I am looking at buying a pair and was wondering if anyone has any comments on them?
Thanks
I bought a pair of Muck Wetlandsfor this year. Havnt had them in the field yet but they are very comfortable and very easy on/off.
All online reviews I saw were very good. Looking forward to using them this season.

Love my Wetlands.

I was looking at the wetlands as a local sporting good supplier sells them for a good price, but I worry about the neoprene in the thorns I go thru? Do they hold up to abrasion well?
I bought a pair of wetland Mucks a couple years ago and love them!! I also have a pair of Chore Mucks for my job, I work in the water/sewer utility department. The Chore boots are COLD, never had as much problem with any other boot. My wetlands are better but if I had to buy another pair it would be one of the artic versions of Muck Boots. As far as comfort and lightweight and durability they are top notch.
The earlier Muck boots often had a problem of the soles separating from the upper due to a failed glue bond. Does anyone know if this problem has been solved?
I will not buy Muck boots again.
I can tell you the Chore boot has givin us no problem so far (two years) where I work. Six employees use them in my department on water main breaks and installing new mains and sewers. We beat those boots up bad, much worse than any hunting environment. So far no failures, but they are cold once the temps get below freezing. Biggest drawback I can say from my experience is whatever range on temperature they suggest on the box is, you better go to a lower temp range boot.
I like my Mucks. I started with a pair of Chores until I finally started getting "holes" in the creases from four years of daily use. I bought the Arctics at the end of last season. From my research, they are the same as the Woody Max (?) without the leafy pattern on them (I call the Arctics my Black Bear Camo Boots ;)
That said, I miss my Chores. They don't come up as high on the calf and I find them more comfortable (I have abnormally large calves). The Arctics/Max are warmer, and with even a short hike in, my feet get soaked. I do like the outsole better on the arctics, but the tread can "catch" in some of the waffle platforms on stands.
Regardless of which model, you can't beat the Mucks for clothing changes in the woods. Just for kicks, I wore my 1200 gr Thins boots last winter and what a pain it was to unlace, put on layers and re-tie. Mucks win easily hands down for such endeavors.
Had several pair even before they got into the hunting boot market. They are great for the farm. I had one sole separate on my first pair.. One thing that I noticed is the neoprene holds odors. I use mine for farm chores including mucking stalls. I would rather use a total rubber boot for hunting.
Thanks everyone but has anyone tried the Rangers?
How is the ankle support on Muck boots?
I have tried the rangers they are good on grass an in the woods BUT I have busted my rear end on rocks when fishing,I got them in the spring an wore them fishing to get rid of the new smell.they did not do well on rocks I have never had anyproblem with them slipping on the tree stand.they feel good on the feet an keep my feet warm in the snow.I still use them an hunt a lot this will be my 3rd year using these boots an no leaks so far I would buy them again hope this helps.becarful crossing sereams.good luck ED

Lots of guys at my work where them. They all rave about them. I myself like the Irish Setter style of Muck boots, hold up very well. Shawn
Been using muck rangers for about 5 yrs. have two pair, one is two sizes too big, I wear wool socks with these for warmth. Other is for warm weather.
Great boot, I look for them on sale, you can get them for $70 once in a while
