Warren had recently heard through certain classified channels of the FROG team and the covert mission they had been part of these last couple of months and his desire to be part of them was kindled.
After some exchange of references and a text message here and there with a necropsy pic or two of some of our most recent mission Warren was hooked :biglaugh:
Warren has been very beneficial to me in the past as he has secure the use of a little over 1500 acres of land to hunt for the past 7-8 years.
He's been there to help scout, hang stands, and admire game taken, been a true friend to talk to and know it went no further :readit:
So Warren has been assigned the duties of Materials and Logistics on the FROG team.

Warren has been over to headquarters a few times while I've been involved in weapons training and has been very intrigued with our form of weapons.
Warren is more of the modern thinking and hasn't been able to quite let go of the cold steel and rubber bushings that form his weapon of choice... but there is hope :saywhat:
On this particular day he gave in a little when I offered him an opportunity to handle the warmth of sculptured wood, long and lean with all the right curves, a Centaur Longbow.
I remember the gleam in his eye after letting loose an arrow, seeing the arch of the arrow, hearing the dull twang of the string and hard thud of the impact. I remember seeing the beginning of a crack in his thoughts and the preconceived impression stored in his mind of these bows of the pass.
So last night after signing the prerequisite Power of Attorney and Last Will and Testament we set out on our mission.
This particular night due to a glitch in communication and scheduling the other 2 member of the team Scout and Sniper would not be a part of this mission so Warren and me would be on our own.
Looks like you have it well organized. look out frogs.
Our mission would be to remove large and dangerous frogs from...
Pond #1 Ward Bayou

We arrived at our predetermined connection location, filled out our check in cards and swapped our weapons and gear to my FJ.
Once loaded pulled up the mission site on my I-Phone and traveled down the road until I WAS 90 degrees perpendicular from frog pond #1 Ward Bayou.
We gather the gear, the bows, and headed out the 200-300 yards to the clandestine location all the whiles saying a silent prayer for success.
As we approached the pond...John, John, uh, what?? Lunch is ready. Are you still on the computer. Uh yes dear. Are you writing stories again as Captain America or whatever you call yourself, Supreme Leader or whatever it is...Oh well I better finish up.
Altogether we got 11 frogs some had good size but most were of average size.
Warren took to it really well after initially missing his first few shot it began to connect and took 6 of the eleven frogs taken.

Welcome aboard Warren !!!
This definitely appealed to my inner kid and put a smile on my face. Good on ya boys.
We miss having the funnest times in pursuit of what we sometimes "think" are a superior quarry ;)
John, you and your "Team" are a frogs worst nightmare. Scrub Buck is heading to Missouri, I'll keep you posted :archer2:
I'd be surprised if there were a frog left within 10 square miles of that Frog Team. :)
It would appear that "Frog" is ready to jump at every opportunity.
Good on you fellas!!
The proof is in the skillet and on the "pallet".
God bless,Mudd
Mike,
May "Scrub Buck" Serve you well and make meat! Pic's will be expected
