Don't worry my bow is fine, but my archery season took a turn for the worse.

I broke my leg Tuesday night and had surgery yesterday to put in plates and screws. Our season opener is 10/5 and doc said no weight for 4-6 weeks. After that it's a walking boot for 4-6 weeks. Hoping I can hobble in and out of the woods in the boot.
Anyone been in this position before? How did it turn out?
That really stinks. On the bright side, theres always late season. I hope you make a speedy recovery! Eric.
Oh man that stinks! Hope for a speedy recovery!
Wishing you a speedy recovery!!
Hobble quietly,LOL Hope you have a quick recovery, and good hunting.Last year I had a meniscus tear in LH knee, it helped slow me down going into the woods.LOL
Good Luck Meathook
glue some carpet remnants to the bottom of the walking cast to be sneakier.
Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Ouch! Hoping for a speedy recovery for you. Make sure you are healed before getting out in the woods.
That sucks man. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
Wish you a quick recovery. Hobbling out to the woods in a walking boot is possible. I did it two seasons ago with a broken foot.
Hope your recovery is fast and painless as can be!
Good luck on a speedy recovery. Take it easy and let it heal, don't be a typical guy and press it
