Title: Thank You Outdoorsman's Edges
Post by: copicasso on August 28, 2013, 11:07:00 PM
I just wanted to give a big thank you to Mike Stenstrom at Outdoorsman's edges for a set of beautiful knives. I had contacted Mike to make a set of knives to comemmorate my son and I first big game hunt together. The picture does not do the knives the justice they deserve. They are way more than I had expected. Thanks again Mike.

I agree.  I had a Daddy/Daughter set made last year, they are top notch.  The scales were made from my childhood Bear Alaskan bow that was broken beyond repair.  And of course, I was the lucky winner of Mike's St Jude offering this year- wow, Mike knocked the ball out of the park again.  I'll post photos of that one if Mike will allow.

Tom,
I was next highest bid to you. I had another knife made from Mike that he donated to St.Judes a couple of years ago. He makes great knives.

It was a pleasure making both sets of knives for such great people.  I hope I put a little good luck into all of them when I put them together.  I am sorry it was such a slow process, the renovation I am doing on my old house has really consumed my time.  Todd good luck to you and Aerik and Tom good luck to you and Kelly.  You are both in a great place, getting to spend fall in the woods with your kids, sharing what you love with them.
