Title: hoyt buffalo lenght
Post by: canuck4570 on August 27, 2013, 06:49:00 PM
after 4 months I have received my hoyt buffalo
ordered the 62 inches model but when measuring the bow tip to tip its only 57 inches

on the hoyt site they say available in 60 or 62 inches

on the limbs its mark short and below its mark SN L and a serial number

how to I confirm this bow is a 62 inches.....
forgot to mentioned the string says 57 inches

It's a 60" for sure.  AMO string length is 3" short of the bow length.

"Short" limbs make a 60" bow.  "Medium" limbs make a 62" bow.

Where did you buy it from? They can't just exchange the limbs for med limbs?

Go on the classifieds here with a post to swap short for medium. That's how I picked up a pair of Buffalo limbs a couple of years ago. Or go on Archery Talk, Classifieds, FITA section and look for some F series limbs for sale. They come up often.

What you want to do may not happen overnight and you will need a little patience.
