I just finished his book,I really enjoyed it.I had already read some of his stories in traditional bowhunter magazine. This is a good book I would recommend to anyone. At the end of the book,it has a preview of the first chapter in his next book.Said to be released in the fall of 2013,I challenge anyone to read this sample and not want to buy his next book!
Fully agree. One of the best bowhunting books ever. I'd read a lot of Jay's stories over the years, and love that although it is all bowhunting related, the book encompasses so much more that we experience in life. I'll be the first to order any book he writes.
I'm rereading it now.
Where can I pick it up?
I thought it was great. Looking forward to his next one.

I know amazon has it, but check some sponsors. Chances are some carry it.
It was a great read. I really enjoyed it. He has a a gift with the way he writes. Highly recommend the book.
I have several copies still available on the Simply Traditional Website if anyone needs a copy. I do my best to keep my cost in line with other retailers.
I think I am a few bucks less than Amazon right now. If you like I can ship media mail and save a bit on shipping. Just place your order and send me a PM or email that you want the slower shipping and I will refund any overages on shipping. (If you combine with other items media mail might not be possible)

great book, plain spoken and easy to read,
Great read!
I still wanna see a picture of that darn Turkey !!!
Jukebox is one helluva turkey..... trust me
Good book.
Great book. Read it 3 times already !!
Wow. Thanks so much, from Karen and me. I'm in Miami working, and Karen is sailing our live-aboard trawler, Largo, through the keys to meet me later this week. Busy preparing to shove off for South America and new adventures sometime next year or so. You can see lots of pictures in color from the book at www.campbellsquest.com, (http://www.campbellsquest.com,) but unfortunately, not of Jukebox. As Don Davis notes, that is a hell of a turkey. :-) "Simply Traditional" (above) is a great place to buy it, and all the trad vendors carry it, plus Amazon. Again, thank you all for the kind words. - Jay and Karen Campbell
Great book. I had to read it slow to take it all in. BTW, it was nice meeting you and Karen at TBOF.
Good to see you, Greg! I'll be back in Wisconsin in a few weeks, working. - Jay
Jay, when will the novel be available? Looking forward to it.
Great book from great people!
Ok Jay, it's fall 2013... Is the book ready? Been looking forward to it too.
Geez. Work on "Archer's Paradox" has slowed down some as Karen and I sold our house and moved on to our trawler, Largo, in Florida. Still at it, though, the tales of "Big" Conner who kills his Alaskan hunt partner Marty McMann desperately with an arrow, to have Bullet and Tracer McMann come to Alaska to kill him, but escapes to the Florida swamps and then Puerto Rico's out islands for a final showdown. Here's a snippet:
"Big was in a situation all right. Parts of Big were going to be cut away soon to save his life, and Nannie Inuit wanted to lock up whatever was left. Forever. The whirlybird had brought two bodies in on the same trip, and down in the morgue Marty McMann's bloated corpse was getting almost as much attention as Big was. In Clagath County, no one had ever seen a white man shot with an arrow before. Or an Indian, for that matter."
Sorry to take so long. :-) - Jay
