I had a Bowyer build me a Takedown with a longbow and recurve limbs. I paid right at $1000.00 for it. about a year later the riser developed a crack just above the rest. I sent it back for repair. What would be a reasonable length of time for me get back in my hands.
Have you called the bowyer? Have no idea, sorry.
No one but your bowyer can answer that. If you're desperate, maybe he could lend you a riser until yours is repaired.
It was a month the 18th of August. He cant loan me one,he doesnt offer that particular riser on his website so I assume he doesnt build it anymore.
Ask for a refund..

Why? Wood is prone to failure. Call the man. Ask to have your bow be a priority. If he is unreasonable and the terms of your warranty allow for a refund then ask for your money.
I sure don't think a month is unreasonable.

Depends. Did he give you an estimated time?
If he said 2 weeks and its been a month I'd be asking but its hard to answer question without all info.
Best of luck
