Thinking about ordering a HH Wesley special or Big Five with all white glass. Anybody out there have a Hill with white glass? Would love to see some pics!!
Jon
anyone?
Jon
Not a HH,but a Hill style Dave Johnson. Black glass on back with White on the belly.I really like the look of white glass on a Hill style bow.

Me too, just something classic about the white glass.
I've never even considered white glass, but that Dave Johnson bow looks good with it.
This is one of my own "Sunbear" longbows.... "Stubby".

I'm liking the look of white glass on the belly of a bow more and more.
That 7 Lakes bow is awesome with those overlays on the white glass.

typical2,
That stingray grip is very cool, and it also goes very well with the white belly.

I am very happy at how that bow turned out.
The looks of that bow has my wife thinking she'd like a bow. And she has NEVER shown any interest before. :)
John D. Lee "Chickadee"

Yew limbs and riser
White belly
Green back
Gold deerskin grip
Built in 1976, the white belly has mellowed to a very pale yellow. This bow certainly has one hell of an old-school look. I love it.

Peter, that turkey is about to run off with your bow and arrow. You don't want to become the target of a riled up bird :jumper:
Glad you guys enjoyed the photo of "Chickadee". Nick, I got lucky on that one as you know. Another TG member (Ralphie) purchased the bow off the auction from a guy in NJ of all places. Who knows how long that bow was 25 away from me. Ralph was torn between shooting the bow and putting up on the rack as a collector's piece. Since he isn't a collector he decided to let it go.
When I saw it I just had to have it. Glad I bought it too. It's my go to bow and I shoot it almost daily. I'm in the process of ordering some new spruce arrows for it, my first foray into the world of wood shafts. John Lee told me that he built a very similar bow for Howard back in 1974. Pretty cool.
Mudd, Is that a Huntsman Lance armguard?
