Title: Better hero pic idea
Post by: Rob W. on August 21, 2013, 09:35:00 PM
Last year I did a thread on the clip shot camera mount that 3R sells. I love that thing but during a spring backpack trip I broke my camera. I will probably have to wait til Christmas or longer to replace it so this year I'm stuck with my phone.

I'm sure someone has already thought of this but here is what I came up with for a mount. Nite-ize gear ties work great. I'm sure there are many other hunting uses for these things as well. I got a 2 pack of the 18" models. I think they were less than 5 bucks.

Nice idea. I would use that if my cell phone camera had a delay.

Thats a great idea. Now seeing those in action I believe they could be use for other things as well. I've gotta get me some of them now.

you can always put your cellphone on video and then go back to the video and get the frame you want for your hero pic....
