Anyone seen these being sold anywhere yet?? I have seen alot of advertising on them but no one selling them.

Cool I thought I had seen some being made up there but was not sure and at that time I had enough regular axis arrows. Figure this go around I will try the FMJs.

Thanks

J,

I hear they bend...and that would make sense looking at how they are built...to me it seems they make a good thing worse and are more expensive to boot.

I thought I had heard something to this nature the bending? like said it is just an ACC in reverse. I just got talking with a friend of mine who is a trad shooter from way back, he said he swears by the gold tip. course he is also a big wood arrow maker which he shoots tournaments with but he hunts w/goldtips. Go figure.

Thanks guys after talking w/him and what yall say I am not sure I want to try the FMJs.

I've had great results with the fmj. They shoot
quieter and penetrate better than the regular axis.
I've yet to bend one, but I'm sure it would be
possible. I think they will be get cheaper as
time passes and gain popularity. JMO

I bought the regular Axis and got sick of all the marketing with the Axis FMJ coming out the next year so never tried them and won't.  These carbon shafts are overpriced...

I have been using them for a couple of months. They shoot great. I am using 340's when they say I should use 400's but I want the extra stiffness. The shop owner used 500's with his recurve and has great groups(shot #4 in nation last year). They are a great hunting arrow.

Best arrow I ever shot.
Been shooting them since July 06'. I missed the target this summer before season started and smacked a block wall. Bent the field point up but didn't bother the shaft. Only broke one and have never had one bend. They consistantly out penetrate any of my other arrows no matter the weight.

Not good, I had a bud give me a few to try. I stumped with them and they did not hold up any better than aluminum. I bent the 3 I had in about 1/2 hour of shooting. Regular carbon is either broke or straight, it don't bend. Shawn

Regular Axis footed with aluminum shafting is best...tried both.

I am with A4Christ:

Adding a component to the entire shaft to take something that WON'T bend and make it something that WILL bend is not what I call good engineering.  Good marketing...but terrible engineering  ;)

Had a regular axis blow up on me and that scared the poop out of me.  Got over it after a few shots and haven't had one do that since.
