I've got a soft spot for Zipper bows...
You see, my Grandfathers prized recurve is a 62" Osage beauty built in '92. I remember being in awe of the graceful simplicity of that bow as a child, and how it slammed his hand made cedars home with gusto. He has never carried that bow afield in search of game, but allowed me the privilege. That recurve and I have had quite a few adventures, and 8 years ago she sent an arrow through my first traditional deer.
So, when it came time for me to pick up a new bow, Mr. Dunn immediately got my attention. I happened across his stock bows page, and without hesitation, gave him a call when i saw a 58" Osage ZipStick aptly named "Yellow Jacket". Bill answered every question I had, and went above and beyond for me, assuring me that the bow would handle my 29" draw length. He was also kind enough to make sure he had a pair of matching shirts for my grandfather and I. A few days later, far before I was prepared to stalk the mailman, a long package arrived.
I'll post more and better pictures later, but take my word for it... The curves on this thing are simply to die for.

Looks like a keeper. I'll be lookin out for the rest of the pics.
Can't beat Bills bows!
My SXT is one of my all time favorites!
Congrats on a great bow! Bill builds a mighty fine bow, and he is a great guy to boot!
Bill Dunn is one of the best out there. I have a major weakness for Zipper bows. I already own 3 Zippers, and have a Zipstick on order. Congrats on your new bow !!! I'm sure your going to love it.
Bill
Bill and Tracy are top shelf......I have a Recurve with 2 sets of limbs and 2 ILF Zipper Standard Risers......all good stuff!
Welcome to the "Zipper" family!

Bill and Tracy are great people!!!
Just picked up an SXT long bow on the classifieds and like it very much. Now I need some heavier limbs. :help:
You done good when you bought that one
My zipper is my go to bow 65#@31 and so darn smooth. I bought it used and someone botched the riser refinish. I'm going to send it to bill after season and get a makeover.
The Zipstick is my favorite Zipper - may be up for another one soon. It is a smooth, fast shooter with a great grip that I plan on taking in the woods this fall.
I like that bow! That osage already getting less yellow jacket looking. ;)
Hope Bill doesn't quit bowyering with all that broadhead making. :help:
Congrats on your bow. Bill is a great bowyer and person!
You guys are too kind!
I'm glad you are digging the "Yellow Jacket", Matt. Although it is less yellow than it once was. Honestly though I think it looks better now that the Osage is starting to darken some.
Bill

The nicest people, Bill and Tracy.....and the bows, well you know! :saywhat:
Zipper bows are just awesome!!!
Just ordered an SXT and some Grizzlys. A very positive experience so far. Can't wait to shoot it. Jan isn't too bad for a build time either.
Everyone says I will love the SXT.

I have not talked to anyone that doesn't like the zipper bows.I started shooting them about 1 year ago and I absolutely love my sxt. im now in the market for a nitro. thanks Bill for building great bows
Bill is a great bowyer and a heck of a nice guy as well!
I received one of Bill's ILF recurves on a trade about a month ago, bow couldn't have been more than a week old or very few arrows through it.
It has the carbon foam limbs and at it's lowest adjustment I am at 53lbs, however it feels around 48lbs. Due to about 50 plus years of shooting a bow and 40 years of construction I have wore out my shoulder and shoot that 48lb max.
I have weighed it no less than 30 times to check the weight. I have owned so many bows over the last thirty years I am almost embarrassed so I know what 48lbs feels like.
I am shooting the carbon express 250's with the Grizzly single edge head that weighs in at 608 grains, I completely blow throw the foam targets with it.
When I shoot the target point at my bag I had to prop up the bag to keep the target from falling over every time.
Needless to say very impressed.
Oh by the way I have bare shafted it out to 30 yards with almost perfect flight.
