Title: Arrow points
Post by: Wulomac on September 04, 2007, 12:11:00 PM
Hey, all.  I was here for a while last spring and then work got in the way.  I made my first bow, and now would like to make some arrows.  I have a question regarding making arrow points.  I have some old circular saw blades that cried out to me to become arrowpoints!  What is the best way to release them from their prison?

A Dremel tool with a reinforced cut off wheel is what most use. Draw you a template and make sure to allow enough for shaping and sharpening and have at it.

Use a 4" or 4 1/2" grinder with a 1/16th" cutting disk. It will do it in a fraction of the time a Dremel will do it.

I think the Ferret has made some good ones, might want to check him out.
