Hey all ya'll Zwickey broadhead users....which one do you like best?
I know...it ain't an easy question to answer! But if you HAD to pick just one; all things considered, which one would it be? :banghead:
I like the ones you sent me!
I have to say that this is a really tough choice!
for ive never found a Zwickey I didnt like! :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
I was just given some No Mercy 4 blades that fly true. I had great success with the two blades so these should be awesome. Hopefully in a few weeks I will know for sure!
At this point 45 Tradgangers have responded so far to this poll. With the deer being the number one big game animal, I'm surprised that the 4-blades in all models are way behind the 2 blades. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues.
Delta two blade all the way. Have used them for years.Gary
I am guessing the 4 blade ones are not as populer because they are harder to sharpen? I like Delta's but if they made a delta 3 blade,i wouldnt be looking at anything else. Or how about a delta tree shark 3 blade, lol.
I have to say the 4 blade no Marcy's are not difficult to sharpen and then leave a great blood trail. I have had much better success with pigs using them. It's hard to get a good blood trail on pigs.
Cliffs!
I voted for Delta 4 blades ...all around favorite....
But the No Mercy 4rs are bad news on big boar hogs!!!
When I was a teen, I shot dads 2 blade blue deltas and they were bad news for the deer population. Switched to 4 blade Eskimos for years and now I just got a 6 pack of 2 blade Deltas on classifieds here on a trade this summer. After all my shuffling, I wonder why I ever switched to begin with.
Cliffs X 2
Cliffs, sold all the rest to hunt with the best! I would like them in a single bevel, mine are double. They make a single bevel Cliff?
I really like what I have seen using the 2 blade Delta's in the past but I voted for the 4 blades due to them having the bleeder blades which for me hunting mainly deer is a bonus. I really like what I see with the 4 blades and hope to put one through a big whitetail this October.
I've been a big Delta fan for many years. Would like to try some Cliffs someday.
Have used nothing but Delta 2-blades for over 20 years now. I guess if I ever have one fail me, I might look at something else. I do have some single-bevels now but haven't used them yet.
Double post, sorry..

No Mercy or Delta's both great heads.
I am absolutely confident in Zwickey Delta 2 Blade Heads. I find them Very Easy to get VERY Sharp, Hold an edge well, and these things are Tough!
If you install them correctly, making sure they "spin" perfectly true, they will fly true as well.
I also enjoy the "Campfire Ritual" of using a good file, and a quality steel to get them razor sharp..
Wow! I'm surprised at the results. We are at 155 pollsters and 77% favor a 2 blade. The Delta (both 2 and 4 blade) is favored by nearly half of us (48%) over the Eskimo 31%(2 and 4 blade). Anybody else surprised? I also would have thought the 4-blades would have had a bigger following. Is it because the 2-blades are more trad, easier to sharpen, penetrate better or that the 4-blades don't do any "better" than the 2-blade models? Maybe another poll is needed...
I have been using Zwickeys for almost 40 years...deltas, eskimos 2 & 4 blades...I bought my first 6pack in '75
overall I like the 2 and 4 blade eskimos with my faster shooting recurve...the 4 blade delta only with my longbow.. I am no expert, but the slower longbows and recurves I have hunted with seem to shoot deltas better...the faster bows like the two or 4 blade eskimos the best...
the deltas seemed to fly a bit wild once I hit the 185-190 fps range, but with my longbows they did awesome...2 or 4...
I've tried Delta's in the past but seemed to always get a flier once in a while. The No Mercy's don't give me any problems and group with my Eskimos and Howard Hill heads. So the NM gets my vote.

We're at 168. Lets go up one more time.
I voted strictly two blade as I find them much easier to sharpen. I really like the no mercy, but don't think there enough better then the eskimo to warrant the extra they usually cost. Hard to beat a 6 pack of Eskimo for $20.
