This morning's session went well. Set up an arrow with a broken nock from yesterday's session, stepped out to about 15 yds and "Thwack!" First shot !

You gotta love it when things all come together!
Yep, id say your ready.
Good luck this season.
Nice shooting!
I wish I was ready to use my trad gear this year but I am just not good enough with it yet so it's my wheelie.
I got quotas into Walk in Water on Sept 30 and of course I go into Avon Park AFR.. I wish I would have started in Jan, I think I would be ready
Bruce, my friend, you have my highest admiration! :notworthy: :notworthy:
To know and admit that your not yet ready to hunt with trad. gear, even though trad. archery is tugging at your soul, shows strong ethics and a great respect for the game we hunt.
They say that one should lead by example, and you Sir, are a leader in my book! :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Paul
Gosh moleman, I don't know what to say other than thank you.
And you are right about it tugging at my soul. After all these years of shooting I never even thought about a trad bow. When I shot one a couple months ago ( a Howatt Hunter ) it was like the star spangled banner, Independence Day fireworks and Reveille all wrapped into one. I shoot my wheelie every single day but my heart is just not in it.

Great shooting. It will look even better when you do it on live game. :) Looking forward to some hero pics.
