Well after many months of scouting, research, anticipation, three hard days away, I was finally brought home a real trophy.

Here are the stats:
Main Beam: 21"
Weight: 8lb 4oz
Some of you may know that we lost our oldest son last year to a brain tumor and this past weekend was full of bitter sweet moments. To hold my new son in the same hospital I held my oldest son as he slipped away was an eerie parallel. Justin was also the exact weight and length his older brother was when he was born. But God is good and we have new memories to add to sweet past memories. Just to keep it on topic what do you think his draw length would be? (Wait, that will get this moved to the Shooters thread) Should he use a longbow or recurve?
I think he looks a lot like you.
Heck that kid has 5 times more hair than me. That ain't sayin' much though :)
I think all babies look like lizards. Even My Littlest Lizard (http://residents.bowhunting.net/sticknstring/lainey.html) Cute lizards though - hehehe.
Congratulations!
Oh yeah: 10" draw with a 'curve.
Looks like a keeper!!!!
:clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Alright Talondale! Congratulations!
I would suggest starting him with a recurve, or at least putting your new rattler skins on the stroller rails :)
Best wishes to all...and try to get some sleep.
Congrats!!!!
Brian

That which does not kill you will make you stronger...I can not begin to imagine the spectrum of pain and joy your family has gone through this past season. When time permits take that long walk in God's backyard, abide with his critters for a bit, and just untie the knots in life's rope. God bless your new child.
Congratulations on that handsome little man.
God bless your family and congratulations!

Thanks everyone for your kind wishes. So far it looks like recurve is the most popular answer. I should have made this a poll question. LOL.
