Title: Glue in/Glue on BroadHead adapters
Post by: KyRidgeRunner on August 14, 2013, 11:42:00 PM
Has anyone ever used the glue in glue on broadhead Adapters from 3 rivers?  They are a 5/16 furrel and I was wanting to mount them on two blade Magnus 1's.  I've read that the Magnus has the 11/32 furrel,  but I've been told they would work.  Has anyone ever used this setup?  Does anyone know where I can get long11/32 glue in/glue on adapters?

From 3 Rivers.

Your Magnus heads will overlap the 5/16" ones a bit, which can still work if you shoot smaller carbons and don't mind the overlap.  You can also use a short 11/32" aluminum adapter for very little extra weight and a better fit.

They will work, and work well. I use them with a 3 Rivers carbon collar and the transition from head to shaft is fine. With them, you never have to worry about a point getting unscrewed - one less thing to worry about when drawing the bow for a shot.
