So I placed a wanted- to- buy 1964 Bear Kodiak ad in the classifieds. Next year I will be 50 and I wanted to hunt with a bow made by Bear the year I was born. I found one almost immediately. Trad folks are the best! Myself and some other Green Mountain Traditional Bowhunter members will be hunting with Bears made in the year we were born in 2014. This may be a fun excercise here on tradgang as well. I'll start another post and we can all keep up with our 2014 bear bow hunts..What do u think?
If you think you might like to come to Canada in the spring of 2014 to shoot some Bears with those Bears please let me know...I have connections...get your season started early in the year

OH man! give me some details...Hey I may want to turn 50 every year!
I was 50 yesterday, no, that was 15 years ans lots of arrows ago. Enjoy that bow and the special moment when you tag a deer with it
I sure would like to turn 50 again :)

Turning 50! Wow, to be able to do that again!! Sux to get old!
Well, I was excited till I was reminded about the colonoscopy, thanks Burnsie! at least I have the "hunting with my Kodiak" to look forward to! Haha
When you visit the doc for your exam. I found that the old joke " Do I get a hug " does not go over well.
I just crossed the half century mark myself back in May, really looking forward to hunting with my 63 Dogleg Kodiak in about a month!
Not so much looking forward to the upcoming colonoscopy...
Although this topic has given me the idea to make this terrible, horrible experience easier on me by picking up another Kodiak... Think my wife will go for it :)
TB, Maybe if you mention it the day of, she'lll feel bad for you. Timing is everything!
