Went for a walk even though we are in the midst of a high pressure with accompanying high temps..
I was skirting a slough that meanders around a field of cotton. As I rounded a bend I saw a group of pigs so I eased over to the edge of the slough for some cover. The wind wasn't good but I had no manuvering room so I slowly moveed their way. I got within 30 or 40 yards and held up as a small group of little pigs were headed right towards me. Beyond them were some nice 100-125 pounders but I knew these little pigs would never go by me without bolting as the wind was nearly in their favor.. They were only 15 yards or so, I drew and dropped one in it's tracks. It was quartering to me and standing in a depression. The arrow took it behind the ear and exited about the diaphram..
Killed this one with an all yew Shelton that's about 61 or 62 pounds at my draw length.
Also used one of the brand new 185 grain Grizzlies.. Looks like they are up to the task of taking the big ones, lol...

Out of curiosity, what part of the state do you live in Pat?
Good eatin' there, Pat. I don't think that it matters what bow or broadheads you use, though.
