Just got my new Grizzly's. The thicker .060 steel in these makes them look bomb proof. Grind is great, and all 6 of them spin perfectly.
225 grains with a long 11/32 aluminum insert. Gives me 555 total grains on my CE Heritage 150's. The flight is a thing of beauty.
I really like these heads and this will be my hunting combo this season. Great job Bill.
Here they are next to the 130 grain Grizzly.

Look good!
Very nice!
The new color is great. Thanks for the pictures.
Great looking heads, who sells the new Grizzly?

I have been a VPA Terminator guy the last few years and Eclipse if I went away from the 3-blades. That said, I just put some 200 grain Kodiaks on some tapered Surewoods and they are very well built. I think I am going to have to give the 185s a go on some of my MFX. If they work well on deer I may have to give them a chance on elk arrows.

Nice TJ...love that wide bevel on those 185's. Huge improvement.
Nice job Bill & Tracey Dunn.

Thanks for the pictures Tom. Those broadeads are going to do some damage this fall !!
Bill
Nice!
Wow awesome
They sure are a bad looking broad head. I might have to try some out.
Excellent job Bill those look as if those will kill any thing on any Continent.
 :notworthy:
Mine arrived today, and i'm a happy guy!
Every one spun true, and as i said in an earlier post on the new Grizzlies, they are beautifully crafted.
Thank you Mr. Dunn.
Now just to wait out the next 22 days... :)
What size insert (ferrule) do the 185's use...?
I'm impressed!!

Can't wait to get some!! My 200 grn. Performed perfect last year with great entry and exit holes. It's was a quartering away shot, the far shoulder socket was shattered. He only went 40 yards !

Here is an example of the "S" shaped cut as these single bevel heads cork screw through the critter.

Any chance of seeing this heavier gauge steel used in the Kodiak model?

They use 11/32" adapters. 5/16" adapters will also work. They just go into the head a bit deeper.
Those look really nice.
Bill, I managed to pick off a little shoat with one of the new 185's yesterday evening. It got the job done in fine fashion!
:biglaugh: Pat, You are one pig killing son of a gun!!! How about the next time I have a new broadhead to test. I just send you some and you can tell me what you think! OH, and I have the rest of your 185 order ready to send to you. Hey they are even all right bevel this time. :D
Bill
Thanks for all of the comments guys. These things are proving to be a wise addition. I would like to go even thicker on the steel but I'm about at the limit of what can be ground at that angle. Any thicker and I will be into the farrel before the bevel is complete.
Thanks, Bill! I'll have to glue some on a few Sitka spruce shafts. :archer2:
looks great
That thick blade ought to twist a lot more going through. Good Job!! Gary
