Title: old CX HE 250
Post by: Bear Heart on August 05, 2013, 03:31:00 PM
Do any sponsors have the old CX heritage 250 shafts in stock? They have been working great for me.  Getting close to hunting time and I would rather save the tinkering for after.

The old CE Heritage 250 have a .373 spine and the new ones have a .391 spine.Just requires to retune them. Not a big difference in the 150,250 and 350's.Larger spine difference in their 75 and 90 arrows.

The new ones are also lighter in weight.

Most of the time I am against change also, but they thought they would capture a greater percentage of the trad market by coming out with a more wood looking shaft. Unfortunately it came in a little lighter and weaker than the darker.

The carbon arrow mfg's don't undestand how a small change in weight or spine can affect the way an arrow shoots from a trad bow.
