I've been looking at some tripod treestands to use for Texas hogs,I know nothing about them.I kinda like the Millennium T100 but it looks like you have to sit to shoot,I would like to be able to stand if needed, but it looks light weight, very portable, easy quick set up and at 10' just high enough for those scrub trees..Any ideas on a light easy set up Tripods ???
I picked up a sportsmans guide 13'tripod last year for bears. Modified the shooting rail into a foot rail.Worked well. Takes about a 1/2 hour to set up with the nuts and bolts. You have a swivel seat and some room to stand for the shot but not much
I use a Woodsey II Quad pod. No tools needed, breaks down into easily manageable components, solid construction, levelling features for hillsides, and can set it up at either 6' or 12' heights.
Woodsy II is excellent stuff
Thanks guys, never heard of a Woodsey,II I'll check it out
I have hunted a grand total of two hunts from pre- set tripods belonging to a friend. So I can't help with your questions. I am considering purchasing because they worked well for the spots they were placed in. Don't remember the brand but they did require you remained seated.
I'll be watching this post
