My Name is Ken.I got hooked on bowhunting/archery fourty years ago, when i lived in east texas and belonged to a great club there, those days were great.I've always loved bowhunting, but not done much in the last 17 years and now am trying to jump back in with both feet, I've really missed it all and am looking forward to spending the rest of my life enjoying "THE KING OF SPORTS" as Howard Hill said. :archer:

Welcome KC,
If you are in the KCMO area there is a great traditional only archery club near Desoto, Ks.
Prarie Traditional Archers is the name of the club. Good folks, a nice range and not far from the KC area.

Welcome!
Thanks to all of you. I've always found bowhunters to be the most friendly & helpful people.Yes paul/ks I do live in the kcmo area.I went to the united bowhunters of mo. jamboree in Marshall mo.were i meet many great people.I also meet Mike Dunnaway from Wild Horse Creek bows 'ks'can't get his Kestrel of my mind.I then took my 12 year old nephew back to Marshall to the selfbow jamboree were we had a great time.
I have a Wild Horse Creek Hawk, one of his earlier models I believe. Mike makes a fine bow and he only lives about 10 miles from me.. :D
If you were at Mojam we probably saw each other. I was camped up on the "hill". :wavey:
I LOVE my hawk t/d.
