Title: Need a bowstring
Post by: TooManyHobbies on August 02, 2013, 06:54:00 PM
Went out to shoot tonight, took one shot and snapped the string on the loop of the top tip. No damage to the bow
So, I need a new bow string for my 68" kohannah. Any suggestions on a maker/supplier?

Oliverstacey in sponsors classifieds. High quality and a bunch of colors to choose from. Josh is a great guy to deal with as well.

Thanks guys. I sent Oliverstacey an email. SBD has a 2-4 week wait.

I'll second Oliverstacy.  Josh's strings are perfect, affordable and he's a real good guy to deal with.

I always get my 8 strand SBD strings at Braveheart Archery also a sponsor on here. Tim usually has most lengths in stock & fast shipping.

Brian, I'd be happy to make you a D97 string for your bow. Let me know mruggiero48@yahoo.com

Allen at Lefties R Us.  Top notch service and great strings.  He's my go-to, best string buying experiences I've had.  Very quick turnaround.  Or if willing to wait a bit, SBD, also excellent.

Thanks all, Flatshooter is helping me out.

David, is there a video tutorial on string making that I could learn from? I'll do some searches.

Really like sbd.  No matter what strand the serving is consistantly the same size.  Pierre is a gentleman to deal with.  Worth the wait.

LRU x2. Their XS2 string is the best I tried. Go for 14 strands on your 62# bow.
