ok guys, after years of traditional bow hunting I feel dumb for asking this, but I'm not sure so bare with me!!!!.....I shoot TD recurves and have always transported them put together, unstrung, with a string keeper. I recently bought a TD bow case for easier traveling. My question is, what's the best way to store/transport your string in a TD case so that I doesn't come unraveled or messed up?
Thanks
AJ
I twist tie the loops together.
I like plastic snack bags, the small ziplock ones.
X2 on the zip ties
Whenever I send a string to someone or just keep a spare in my possibles bag I use one of our daughters rubber band looking hair bands..You can get a bag of these for just a few $$ and they are like very small rubber bands about 1000 in a bag and you can do a few figure "8"s with them and overlap till tight around the string....It will keep them together and you may also find many more use's for these bands such as keeping bare shafts together in bundles and attaching a field tag on a bucks antler before moving from field ...I always seem to take the lime green ones from thier stash and they haven't cought me yet... :D
thanks for the info guys.....I'm going to combine all these suggestions and hopefully keep shootin straight.
thanks again
AJ
