A most exquisite wood.
Keith, I think that you have exceeded the number of beautiful bows that one person may own. To rectify this problem please send me any surplus Widows and/or Silvertips to me so the bow police don't have to visit you...............and you better make it quick as I leave for the haul road next Thursday. Bill
Bel007 your black widow is incredible looking!
Make her real pretty now...... she is gonna wind up in my cave eventually!!!

Not the best pictures. The curly bubinga is a lot darker in real life.
Brad....that's a beauty
Keith - Obviously not your style of bow, but it has flat grain bubinga limbs. Built this one for my wife's uncle.

Thanks guys. I have waterfall on my Caribow and another spotted Bubinga on a set of BW limbs. I really like it and these pics have me convinced to go with it on my newest creation.
Good luck Bill on ur hunt for Caribou. You should see the new silver inlay on my newest BW.

Which will be??? :D
I ordered a Silvertip with extra limbs. Gonna be pretty cool.
I have used Figured Bubinga veneers in 3 or 4 bows. top pic is a longbow, bottom recurve. I have a nice 2" x 6" x 8' Bubinga board..it has some figure but not waterfall.. (http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt46/Robertfishes/bubingaboard.jpg) (http://s596.photobucket.com/user/Robertfishes/media/bubingaboard.jpg.html)
WOWZA.....What GORGEOUS BOWS!!
Not a shabby looking bow in the bunch.
Thanks all.
Nalajr
I have a Herway Carnivore with nice, heavily figured waterfall bubinga - the name on the bow is "Bubinga Seduction" :help: It is also has yellowheart or something like that (not osage). It was my first bow that I learned on. Here are crappy pics the guy who sold it to me used:

Kieth, lots of pics on Caribows site. Click the link to his facebook page. I have bubinga sapwood on a slynx and love it. I think Abe cuts his own veneers.
Very nice pieces of wood!
I am always been a fan of Bubinga,a very dense and tough wood, excellent choice for risers.
The lams from my Sassy Lady from Kirk...

Kirk called it "snakefight grain" :)
Here's on the bow in finished form:

and how it "stacked up" with the wild bocote he had for me. Ended up with a waterfall bubinga I beam, belly ramp caps, and the face veneers, bocote on the back veneers.

Wow Doc, that is a wild looking bow with some fine wood!
Kirk, that Black Mamba bow is fantastic. Great job.
Will,
Thanks. That will likely be my last bow in this life!
The credit for the great wood goes to God
The credit for picking those woods and puttin it all together in a great looking, but better SHOOTING bow, goes to the artist, Kirk @ Bigfoot!
Oh Im in love with that widow!!
Abe cut some incredible Bubinga veneers for my Slynx last year.

Yeah, I really like the Waterfall in my Caribow, too. Abe's veneers are amazing.
Well that's just great. Now I want a new bow. U guys have some amazing rigs!
