I've been practicing my form recently after taking a video of myself shooting and realizing how much I was pulling with my arm instead of my back. I still have a long ways to go, but by using my back muscles and concentrating on proper alignment of my drawing arm and having a straight relaxed string wrist, my draw seems to have shortened from around 28" to about 26.5-27"? Just curious if anyone else has ever experienced this and what may have caused it? Any input would be great!

Your draw MAY have shortened IF before you were overdrawing (back towards your ear). Many as they learn good form find that their draw increases but again, that depends on where you are starting from. Learning to get your bones lined up and supporting the weight of the bow on your bones will give you a consistent draw length with ANY bow. BUT if you are just using muscle to get to full draw, you will find fairly large differences in draw length.

I think I found my problem after watching some of your videos and doing a search. I don't think my shoulders were aligning properly as focused as I was on getting my string armed aligned with the arrow. I have to work on doing both simultaneously, and I think it should solve my problem. Thanks.
