Title: Trail cam pics
Post by: 30coupe on July 27, 2013, 01:17:00 AM
I haven't shared any pics in a while. My internet connection at the cabin is pretty weak, so sending pictures is out. I'm home for the weekend and thought I'd share some of the bucks I'm seeing at my place.

I've seen this seven pointer a couple times. Big bodied deer and pretty good mass.

This one's a nine or ten point, but looks younger than the seven.

This one's going to need some time to grow up.

Not sure how old this guy is, but I bet he'd get my attention this fall...wow!

Now this is not a big buck, but take a look at his left ear. I think someone had a go at him with a slug last year.

Here's a little closer view:

I had a bunch of does and a couple more small bucks on the camera in the last week. Looks pretty promising!

The trouble with Iowa is that we may have 45 degree nights in July and 80 degree days in October!    :banghead:

I'm excited for fall, as I always am, but I have too much I want to get done before then to want to rush it.

Cool pics, the one looks like he's got a hole in his ear.  Pulled a card yesterday, got a couple nice pics of decent bucks, but the shocker was a black bear.  Mainly farm country, so it puts a little different spin on things as I'm hiking to my stand in the dark this Sept.
