A friend of mine in Portland, Dave Jones, recently built this self bow for me. My wife couldn't make the image any bigger, but you can see the nice tight group I shot with it.

Great shooting. Looks like you and that bow will get along just fine.
GREAT SHOOTING! I WOULD LOVE TO GET MY HANDS ON A SELF BOW.
What weight, and what spine arrows? Also, what is your draw length with that bow? What wood? Inquiring minds want to know.
Great shooting, BTW.
Very nice.look out Mr. & Mrs. Whitetail
Nice Don!
Nice shooting!
I'd like to see a bigger picture of the bow if you ever get it figured out, looks great from what my dim eyes can see.
Looks like the combination works perfect.
Stick to it and you will have years of happiness.

The wood is vine maple. Arrows are 45-50 drawing about 27". Not sure of the poundage...55+?
VM makes a good bow and that looks like a great one. Self bows are just as accurate as glass bow if properly set up and pilot error is controlled. Good shooting!
Nice shooting and sweet looking bow.
It is fun to shoot. :archer2:
