So I stop in the local archery shop that usually carries a descent amount of trad supplies today. A very nice young man asks "Can I help you sir?" I replied..."Yes I am looking for a 2216 shaft to make footings with." He stops and has a puzzled look on his face and says "we don't carry aluminums anymore; the whole world has gone carbon." So I said " ok " and walked out.
And you are surprised?
Order some from one of our great sponsors here.
What Ron said. Help out the sponsors that way they will keep stocking them.
Thats what I am going to do guys. Thanks for the advice.
or sometimes you can get lucky and get the size you need at wally world sometimes. thats what i did atleast..lol. or ask around at different shops for wasted shafts too so long as they are for footings :p ...not trying to dis the sponsors or anythng but i know sometimes money is hard to come by especially in this economy so just trying to help out with cheap alternatives :)
LOL, the shop owner where I live gets it, but when I'm chatting with him and some of the wheelie customers hear me talking trad (trash? LOL) I've gotten some looks like 'you're crazy Tanto."
The more the world "advances" the more we become a tighter knit community, I'm with Ron check with our sponsors.
